Fresh off making headlines at the SAFTAs, Thuso Mbedu is headed to her next TV gig.
The much-talented actress is reportedly joining Generations The Legacy. Sunday World reveals that character will cover for Thulisile Phongolo and Andisiwe Gweba who have been written off the soapie.
“Her character will be affiliated with the Moroka family and Jack Mabaso, so that will be interesting. The fact that she’s already a household name and she’s young is a bonus because she’s going to give the show some life.”
“She just did one screen test and the job was hers. That’s how much the producers loved her. She starts shooting soon and will start appearing in the next two months.”
Well, this will be no major debut for Thuso, as she has proved her talent on Is’Thunzi, Scandal!, Saints & Sinners and MTV Shuga.
