The Dad-shoe being the hottest trend now, with silhouettes like Balenciaga Triple S, YEEZY 700 Wave Runner and PUMA Thunder leading the way, most brands are also trying to ride this wave by introducing chunky sneakers to their line-up.
On the other hand, it’s not just sneaker brands who are aware of this trend, retailers like Zara are down with this dad-shoe trend.
The latest retailer to unveil its attempt is Mr Price, with the release of its new chunky sole sneaker. The shoe features a mix of different materials, with Pink, White, Red, Beige colours beautifying the shoe design. The chunky sole completes the design.
Having similar features to the Balenciaga Triple S, however, the Mr Price version retails for R299.99. You can buy them at your nearest Mr Price store or online at www.mrp.com.
