Thiwe Mbola will this week launch a new award ceremony- Women in Music Awards.
Following her recent and influential Women in Music workshops, Thiwe has decided to take this a step further with the awards launch. Women in Music Awards seek to empower, celebrate and recognize women in music both on stage and behind the scenes.
Bonang Matheba will host the launch taking place on 30 October 2018 at the Platinum Bar in Rivonia, Sandton. The launch starts from 10:00 to 13:00 and is to host musicians, music industry experts and various media personalities.
Hip hop star Rouge, Pop star Chiano Sky and Soul singer Sobantwana will be sharing the stage, entertaining guests at this first of its kind event, honoring women in the music business.
