House vocalist/producer – Zano has joined Sony Music Entertainment Africa family in a global deal, through local urban imprint label Sound African Recordings.
The news comes with a new EP ‘Ngbambe’ releasing this Friday, 16 November, and a new album in 2019.
Zano describes the significance of the song – considering we are in that time of year where people are proposing to their partners and planning formal expressions of their love – saying “Ngbambe is a story of how love triumphs. Where there is a bond of love, it is hard to break. It speaks to a narrative that explores the staying power of real love. A love that wills you to be the best. Musically it also represents a new level of growth for me as a songwriter and music producer”.
On this EP, Zano has worked with Cuebur and Tshego AMG (All Mighty Guitarist).
Ngbambe is comprised of 4 tracks which includes an Unplugged Version of the single Zano has produced alongside Tshego AMG, which caters predominantly for the Afro Soul music lover. The lead single is the remix of Ngbambe (Kollektive Kontrol Remix) featuring one of SA’s well known urban voices, Mpumi, without taking too much away from the original version of the song that people have come to love.
