Disney’s remake of 1994 classic ‘The Lion King’ has its first trailer, which aired during the NFL’s traditional Thanksgiving primetime game.
The trailer is currently running number 1 on YouTube, hitting the most watched trailer in a day.
The cast of ‘The Lion King’ will feature a star-studded cast including Donald Glover as Simba, Beyoncé as Nala, John Kani as Rafiki, James Earl Jones returning as Mufasa, Seth Rogen as Pumbaa and many more.
The one and a half minute long trailer feature opening moments of the movie, in which Rafiki presents a young Simba to the animals of the Pride Lands, with the quintessential shot of Simba being hoisted above the rock.
Look out for the film, hitting theatres 19th July 2019.
