PUMA WILL BE EXPANDING THEIR RS-X RANGE THROUGHOUT 2019, AS WE’VE ALREADY SEEN WITH THE RS-X REINVENTION, AND NOW LET’S DIVE INTO THE ALL-NEW RS-X TOYS.
With the RS-X Toys, PUMA is taking us back to the era of iconic toys that generations grew up with, from playing with them and how they became collectable items. This edition celebrates the reinvention of toys in and beyond sneaker culture, and the overall shoe design is inspired by vinyl toys.
Offered in two colourways: PUMA Black/Blue Atoll and PUMA White/PUMA Royal/High-Risk Red, both shoes stand out in fresh mixed colours inspired by various toys, features a mesh upper, overlays of leather, embossed textile heel piece and a moulded insole. The midsole features PUMA’s updated Running System technology, reinventing the heritage model while still honouring the past. Wrapping up the design is the PUMA Branding around the shoes and the soundwave-inspired Formstrip.

We continue to explore different ways of styling the chunky silhouettes, in this case, the PUMA RS-X Toys, which carries the bulky design, adding to the dad-shoe trend.
However, the colour/s that appear on the shoes sets options for your style/ outfit. One pair opts for a simple dark design and while the second pair is popping with mixed colours around the shoe.
OUTFITS
Outfit 1 – Breaking fashion boundaries, sneakers are no longer limited to being put on with jeans or track pants – this fit says it all. Keeping it simple yet making a fashion statement, we opted for something different, dark coloured suit to complement the Black/Blue colours on the shoe.
Outfit 2 – For the next outfit, we go down memory lane, bringing back the dungaree, which was and still is the hottest staple. To go with the colour block design on the second pair of the PUMA RS-X Toys, we picked a dark colour outfit (dungaree and the tee), to allow the kicks to stand out. However to play around with colours one can opt for a bright coloured tee (white tee or even red).
