Following the RS-X Reinvention and the RS-X Toys, PUMA is expanding their RS-X range with another astonishing release – PUMA x Hot Wheels RS-X Pack.
Celebrating Hot Wheels 50th anniversary, the collection consists of three versions of the RS-X sneaker inspired by different models from the Hot Wheels archive. The three styles are Bone Shaker, Camaro and 16.
There are some childhood memories that one won’t easily forget, and getting your first Hot Wheels car is certainly one of them. Over time, many knew that Hot Wheels toy cars would always be a thing even today.
The gold-hued “Bone Shaker” pays tribute to the 2006 Black & Gold Rodger Dodger, the orange and black “Camaro” sneaker references the ‘68 custom edition racer car and the black-and-blue “16,” a major throwback to Mattel’s first product line, the “Sweet 16.”

All the three sneakers are powered with PUMA’s patented RS technology on the midsole. Decked in mesh, textile and leather overlays on the upper, the Hot Wheels logo is prominently embossed on the outsole and the heel, with RS-X branding appearing on the tongue and RS PUMA branding on the moulded sock liner.

We continue to explore different ways of styling the chunky silhouettes, in this case, the PUMA RS-X Hot Wheels, which carries the bulky design, adding to the dad-shoe trend.
OUTFITS
Outfit 1 – The two outfits are based on the different colours that appear on the shoe (Black, Blue and Orange). Still keeping it simple, we decided to go with our favourite staple, the classic blue dungaree and the orange tee. Not limiting other outfit options, even a black track pant, black or blue jean still goes. One can play around a White, Black, Orange or Blue colour options when choosing a top (tee, sweater, hoodie etc.).
Outfit 2 – For the next outfit, styling the “Bone Shaker” colourway, Black appears to be the most dominating colour on the shoes – making it easy to style our next fit.
SIZING RECOMMENDATION: For sizing, we’d suggest you go True to Size.
