A number of South Africa artists will be heading to Texas in March to perform at the South by Southwest Festival (SXSW).
South by Southwest is an annual 11-day film and interactive media conference as well as one of the largest music festivals of its kind.
Artists, industry professionals, and fans from all over the world get invited to Texas for a week every March to attend performances by iconic artists, make professional connections, elevate their musical careers, and discover the next wave of musical talent.

This year’s festival will take place from 08 – 17 March 2019 at Austin, Texas. South African artists who will be performing at the festival include; Cassper Nyovest, Anatii, Nadia Nakai, Tribal, DJ pH, Tshego, and Major League Djz.
In past years, the festival has invited other local artists such as AKA, Kwesta, Kid X and K.O to mention a few.
Each year, new, developing, and established Showcasing Artists from 60+ countries are represented amongst the 2,000-plus official performers looking to enhance their careers by reaching new audiences.
Showcases are curated by SXSW in collaboration with record labels, booking agencies, management and PR firms, export offices, publishers, media outlets, lifestyle brands, festivals, and more. Performances take place in bars, clubs, parks, churches, and hotels around downtown Austin.
