This year will bring movie fans a jam-packed line-up in Comedy, Action, Thriller, Adventure and abit of Horror.
Unlike 2018 which was abit dry, this year we have a bunch of movies to choose from through out the year. Movie fans can look forward to a number of much-awaited sequels; Keanu Reeves’ John Wick: Chapter 3, Avengers: Endgame, Captain Marvel and Jordan Peele’s US to name a few.

John Wick: Chapter 3
After an action-packed chapter 2, fans can expect to be blown away when Keanu Reeves returns on John Wick: Chapter 3.
In this third installment of the adrenaline-fueled action franchise, super-assassin John Wick (Keanu Reeves) returns with a $14 million price tag on his head and an army of bounty-hunting killers on his trail. After killing a member of the shadowy international assassin’s guild, the High Table, John Wick is excommunicado, but the world’s most ruthless hit men and women await his every turn.
The new chapter is set to debut on 17 May 2019 and can expect to see Common, Laurence Fishburne, and Ruby Rose reprise their roles in the sequel.

Captain Marvel
Marvel comics fans can look forward to Captain Marvel, an upcoming American superhero film based on Carol Danvers. This movie will become the twenty-first film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, written and directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck. Brie Larson stars as Danvers, alongside Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Lashana Lynch, Gemma Chan, Annette Bening, Clark Gregg, and Jude Law.
The story follows Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races. Set in the 1990s, “Captain Marvel” is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The Lion King
Disney’s remake of 1994 classic ‘The Lion King’ will finally arrive in cinemas in July this year.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood
Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt will star in the upcoming mystery crime film ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’.
Set in Los Angeles in the summer of 1969, Tarantino’s upcoming movie focuses on a male TV actor named Rick Dalton (DiCaprio) who’s had one hit western series and is looking for a way to get into the film business. His sidekick Cliff Booth (Pitt) who’s also his stunt double, is looking for the same thing. The horrific murder of Sharon Tate (Rick’s neighbor in the film) and four of her friends by Charles Manson’s cult of followers serves as a backdrop to the main story.
