Ster-kinekor will be celebrating the life of Sibusiso Khwinana.
The rising star and actor who plays the role of Lefa in the local film ‘Matwetwe‘ passed away on the night of 01 March 2019.
Sbusiso was allegedly stabbed to death in the Pretoria CBD in what is believed to be a robbery.
Sterk-kinekor will on the 13th and 14th March let fans watch Matwetwe at half price, with all proceeds to be donated to the family and a youth initiative.
Ster-Kinekor will also contribute towards the training of rising young actors through Actor Spaces, an organisation run by Ayanda Sithebe, in memory of Khwinana.

Matwetwe is a collaborative work of Kagiso Lediga, and Black Coffee who comes as the executive producer, and has cost less than R2 Million to make.
The movie tells a story of Lefa and Papi, best friends and recent high school graduates, on the hustle of their young lives. Over the course of one action-packed New Years Eve in the iconic township of Atteridgeville, the boys try to score a huge deal, dodge a king pin gangster and his violent minions, get the girl and ultimately save their lives in this hilarious and sometimes very serious escapade.
Cast includes; Sibusiso Khwinana (Lefa), Tebatso Mashishi (Papi), Anastasia Augustus (Agnes), Lungile Cindi (Les), Mbeko Cindi and Karabo Dikolomela to name a few.
