Apple unexpectedly released the new AirPods with improved features and they are simply dubbed the second generation.
The new AirPods don’t really do much on the checklist, except for the with 50% more talk time, the wireless charging case, and hands-free ‘Hey, Siri’.
They come built with the new H1 chip which improves the performance,audio experience, faster connect time to iPhone and other devices and deliver up to 50 percent more talk time compared to first generation AirPods.
The new AirPods come with either the standard charging case or the new Wireless Charging Case. Each case holds additional charges for more than 24 hours of total listening time.
They come only in white, and sorry for folks who were hoping for black colourway, maybe we will see this come September launch.
AirPods with standard charging case are priced at $159 (US) and with Wireless Charging Case at $199 (US).
