A-reece has come together with producer MashBeatz to release a new project.
‘Reece Effect’ is a full hip-hop project packed with 11 tracks and releases under The Wrecking Crew label.
On this project, A-Reece and MashBeatz invite a number of TWC artists to feature on the tracklist; Ex Global, Wordz, Krish and IMP THA DON.
However, the album has left his social media fans divided. Others are calling him out for always featuring TWC on his songs, which does not bring any versatility to his sound.
Fans have expressed that the crew is holding Reece back and he should consider working with other outside artists and producers on future projects.
A fan posted:
“#ReeceEffect Reece needs to stop with these TWC features… We are forced to listen to abo X Global we don’t even give a fuck about cos of Areece? There is putting your friends on and then there is letting your friends hold u back.”
and the rapper replied:
“you aren’t forced to listen to anybody.
let alone my music.
there’s a difference between constructive and destructive criticism.
most people here on twitter are so good at doing the latter.
but that just means most people ain’t doing shit.”
