AKA, Sho Madjozi, Burna Boy, Mr Eazi & more nominated for 2019 BET Awards

This year’s BET Awards nominees have been announced and South African fans have more to celebrate.
The awards will once more shine the light on African artists and we’re excited to see the names on this year’s nomination list.

The SupaMega, AKA has been nominated for Best International Act, and will go against Burna Boy, Mr Eazi (Nigeria), Dave (U.K.), Dosseh (France), Giggs (U.K.), and Aya Nakamura (France).

Sho Madjozi also got her first nod for Best New International Act, going against Teni (Nigeria), Headie One (U.K.), Jok’Air (France), Nesly (France) and Octavian (U.K.).

The BET Awards will take place 23 June 2019 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, and will be broadcast on channels such as BET, MTV, VH1, Logo, MTV 2, MTV Classic.
