To win, producers must submit their best beat, showcase their skills to a panel of respected judges, and survive a series of elimination rounds. Only one producer will receive the coveted co-sign that could change everything.

The competition process:

Up-and-coming producers in South Africa need to upload their best beat to the Rémy Producers website and if shortlisted, present their skills to Riky Rick and a panel of respected judges, survive a series of elimination rounds at one of our three live shows in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town.

Only one producer will receive the coveted co-sign at our Grand Finale from Riky Rick that could change their music-making career.

The regional events start in Johannesburg on 26 July, Durban on 9 August and end off in Cape Town on the 23 August.
Each city will showcase five semi-finalists who will perform for Riky Rick and a panel of esteemed judges, as well as a small group of invited guests. These exclusive events will give the contestants an idea of what they can expect at the Grand Finale in September.

Each regional event will result in one finalist who will compete in the Grand Finale for the title of South Africa’s first ever Rémy Producer.
