Philadelphia rapper, Meek Mill who recently performed in South Africa, has confirmed his new documentary series coming in August.
Titled ‘Free Meek’, this will be a six-part docu-series about Meek Mill’s long ongoing fight with the current criminal justice system.
The docu-series is executive produced by Shawn Carter (Jay-Z), Eli Holzman, Aaron Saidman, Paul and Isaac Solotaroff, and produced by Roc Nation and The Intellectual Property Corporation (IPC).
Executive produced in part by Jay-Z, “will follow Meek and his fight for exoneration while exposing flaws in the criminal justice system and will give viewers unprecedented access to the star’s life, career, and criminal justice odyssey, while demonstrating the negative effects long tail probation is having on urban communities of color” according to a summary posted along with the trailer below.

The series will premiere on 09 August 2019 exclusively on Amazon Prime Video in more than 200 countries and territories.
