Google Maps taps on Waze with Live Traffic feature

Putting itself next to Waze, Google has launched a new update with live traffic delay information for buses and transit crowdedness predictions on Google Maps.

The two new features will help users to better plan for transit rides.

With live traffic, users will be able to see if their bus will be late, how long the delay will be, and more accurate travel times based on live traffic conditions along your route.

With crowdedness predictions, you can see how crowded your bus, train or subway is likely to be based on past rides.
