Focus Features has released a new trailer for their new movie and historical biopic drama ‘Harriet’.
The movie stars Cynthia Erivo as Harriet, the titular American icon.
Based on the thrilling and inspirational life of an iconic American freedom fighter, HARRIET tells the extraordinary tale of Harriet Tubman’s escape from slavery and transformation into one of America’s greatest heroes. Her courage, ingenuity, and tenacity freed hundreds of slaves and changed the course of history.
Kasi Lemmons comes as the director of the movie, co-written by Lemmons and Gregory Allen Howard. The cast includes; Leslie Odom Jr., Joe Alwyn, Janelle Monáe, Jennifer Nettles and Clarke Peters.
‘Harriet’ will arrive in cinemas on 01 November 2019.
