WATCH: Burna Boy talks new album, Afrobeats, Fela Kuti inspiration on The Breakfast Club

Burna Boy recently stopped by The Breakfast Club to have a chat about his all things music and his the new album ‘African Giant’.
To take his conversation further, the Naija superstar touched on his influences in the music business including Fela Kuti’s inspiration.

He also touches on his recent BET award, being featured in Beyoncé’s ‘The Lion King: The Gift’ album and why he does not like social media.

With this new album, Burna Boy takes it to the next level, pursuing “Afrofusion” — the rich blend of Afrobeats, hip-hop, dancehall and R&B. Burna Boy describes how the culture is different here in Africa and how there are so many sounds and Afrobeats being the dominant one.
