Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy Note10, introducing improved sleek design and powerful performance.
Sizes
For the first time ever, the Note 10 comes in two sizes, the 6.3-inch (Note 10) and the 6.8-inch (Note 10 Plus), both with Cinematic Infinity Display.
Design
The most notable thing on the design is the edge-to-edge display with less bezel, while the in-display cut out for the front camera is small and centered for a balanced design. And how can we not mention that there is NO HEADPHONE JACK on both models, Samsung opted for USB-C and wireless audio, and feature a pair of USB-C earphones in-box.
Fast Charging
Both models are also upgraded with Super Fast Charging to a list of charging innovations that also includes Wireless PowerShare and Fast Wireless Charging 2.0.
Storage
The Galaxy Note10 comes with 256GB built-in storage, while the Galaxy Note10+ is available in a choice of 256GB and 512GB models, with support for up to 1TB of additional storage via microSD card.
Camera
The front-facing camera (selfie) is 10MP, while at the back its everything rad with 16MP ultra-wide camera, 12MP wide-angle, 12 MP telephoto and a tiny DepthVision camera.
Standout features include Zoom-In Mic and Screen recorder. With Zoom-In Mic, when users zoom in on the subject of their video, they’ll also be able to zoom in on their subject’s voice (amplifying its sound), and minimize background noise.
Screen recorder, meanwhile, offers a simple tool for capturing what’s on your screen, and allows you to use the S Pen to add live notes to your video.
And exciting for video creators, the Note10 Gallery app features an all-new, built-in video editor that allows users to combine video clips, adjust playback speed, add transition effects and license-free music, layer text and more, either by hand, or using the S Pen.
S Pen
The S Pen has been updated, now lasting up to 10 hours of use on a single charge, and a slew of other enhancements.
The Galaxy Note10 and Galaxy Note10+ come in 3 colour options; Aura Glow, Aura White and Aura Black and will be available from 30 August 2019 here in South Africa, with pre-orders going live on 08 August.
The local pricing: Galaxy Note10 (256GB) is priced at R18 999 and Note10 Plus (256GB) is priced at R22 999.
