Miller Genuine Draft has come together with the multi-faceted designer, Jeff Staple for the Miller Design Lab special and limited edition collection.
For this collection, Staple and Miller enlisted four outstanding artists from different design disciplines to create an exclusive range of unisex jackets.
The Miller Design Lab selected South Africa’s fashion designer Rich Mnisi, South America’s tattoo artist Mariano Antonio, Russia’s graffiti artist Konstantin Zmogk and Elie Kimbembe, a creative photographer from Canada.
With the Design Lab, MGD wanted to create a collection of versatile gear that appeals to the streetwear enthusiasts and inspired by theme ‘gold is the new black’.
ZMOGK JACKET
Zmogk showcases his visual art skills on the knee-length jacket which has his artwork on the top front, back and along the pockets sleeves.
ELIE KIMBEMBE JACKET
Elie Kimbembe who’s a forward-thinking photographer takes his work to make it part of the design in a unique way. The knee-length jacket shows Elie’s photography work on the front lower pocket and the entire back.
The stay with the theme, the gold-theme photographs are printed on a light fabric material and embroidered on the jacket.

Rich Mnisi’s jacket carries the gold and black theme using creative patterns and neat look. The jacket features a wide pattern in the front with sleeves and two pockets on each side. The lower back is a pocket with a belt hanging over and covered with numbers and words pattern. The top part is written CALL ME in bold and large.
Mariano’s jacket embodies the bomber jacket design with reflective star-rays patterns all over the jacket. The front left-pocket has the same star-rays patterns embroidered in gold and that duplicates at the back in large.
ABOUT THE DESIGNERS:
Rich Mnisi
Creator of his own South African multi-disciplinary brand in 2015, Rich draws inspiration from traditional African culture, along with the contemporary film, music, and art, combining both in his work to create something completely unique.
Mariano Antonio
A darling to the global music icons and sports stars, Mariano Antonio is a self-taught tattoo artist who began his career in New York and found himself back in the streets of Buenos Aires where he’s quickly becoming one of the most famous tattoo studios in Argentina.
Elie Kimbembe
Representing Toronto, Kimbembe was one of the first to turn a passion for photography into a career through Instagram. The self-made photographer has captured stills for iconic artists during their tour, including The Weekend.
Zmogk
Zmogk is a Russian visual artist who works in many mediums including oil paint and sculpture. To create his signature characters: the robots, Zmogk’s style blends classical geometric shapes, strong lines, and bold, rich colours.
