Manu WorldStar debuted his new and much-awaited EP ‘Young African Story’.
The Young African Story music project follows on the success of the chart-topping single Nalingi and Future Plan which played on BBC 1Xtra and Beats Radio UK, as well as several popular features like , Go Down which was featured as the official theme song for the TV campaign for the African Cup Of Nations (AFCON) 2019 which gained Manu WorldStar new fans across the continent.
Young African Story comes packed with 5 tracks and has no features. The project intros with the title track which sets the mood for the groovy, hip-hop and afrobeats sound. With Rent and Sheba, Manu WorldStar maintains the groove and mood from Nalingi.
This is a solid release from Manu WorldStar, who kept it nicely short by giving away enough for fans to understand his sound and approach. Most of his songs share an African feel and good vibes, touching on subjects like love, happiness, party and life in general.
Young African Story keeps us in-between ‘give us more’ and damm, Manu’s sound is so dope.
