After teasing his 2019 album set for September 2019, Solo has dropped a new single collaborating with Kwesta.

‘Promises’ paves way for the album and showcases Solo’s ability to continuously incorporate a rap verse on a classic hip hop beat with a kwaito sound from the multi-talented producer.

This melodic body of work derived from a childhood rhyme, sees Kwesta deliver another punchy verse that compliments Solo’s effortless flow and timeless rap skills.

Produced by Buks, ‘Promises’ is the second single from Solo’s upcoming studio album – C Plenty Dreams which is set for release on 20 September 2019. He had this to say about the single “Promises speaks to the responsibilities that we have for our circles. Whether elected or inherent, there are promises that we are expected to deliver on for those we love.”
