adidas Originals will be celebrating the 110th Anniversary of Manchester United’s first FA Cup victory back in 1909 with a special edition UltraBOOST dubbed, “Manchester Rose.”
The Red Rose is inspired by the uniform worn by United in the final against Bristol City, which featured a large red rose on a white background.
This time the beloved UltraBOOST 1.0 Climais dressed in Triple Black color scheme. The shoe features a Black Primeknit upper paired with luxurious matching Black leather overlays on the tongues, heels, and lace cages. A Black Boost midsole and matching rubber outsole finishes off the all-Black scheme. But the highlight of the shoe is the Lancashire Rose on the tongue, which was worn on the left chest of the football club during their 1909 FA Cup final, along with “110 Years,” “Manchester Rose,” and “1909_2019” debossed on the lace cage.
Look out for the Manchester United x adidas UltraBOOST 1.0 Clima to release on Saturday, 28 September 2019 at selected adidas Originals stores (Sandton & Canal Walk), for the retail price of R3299.
