Finally! The much-awaited Joker arrives in cinemas this week.
This Warner Bros. Pictures release will give viewers a look at the Clown Prince of Crime. The movie centres around the iconic arch nemesis and is an original, standalone story not seen before on the big screen. Phillips’ exploration of Arthur Fleck (Joaquin Phoenix), a man disregarded by society, is not only a gritty character study but also a broader cautionary tale.
The film stars Zazie Beetz, Bill Camp, Frances Conroy, Brett Cullen, Glenn Fleshler, Douglas Hodge to name a few. The film is being produced by Phillips (who is also the director) and Bradley Cooper.
Joker will release in local cinemas on 04 October 2019.
