DJ Fresh will now be doing weekend radio after joining Kfm 94.5 line-up.
The legendary radio jock will host #FreshSundaze every Sunday from 15:00 until 19:00. He will also join the station’s Kfm Sundaze line-up, which includes Saskia Falken, Brandon Leigh and Mamohau Seseane.
Fresh will still continue his duties as drive time host for sister station 947.
“Audience involvement will be key to the new show for sunny summer days and beyond. Listeners will get the chance to curate their perfect Sunday playlist along with Fresh through his new music feature, Fresh’s 5@5. Capetonians are encouraged to submit their favourite music selection via our website, and DJ Fresh will create a mix from their choice that he will play each Sunday at 17:00,” says Kfm 94.5 station manager, Stephen Werner.
“It’s not going to be Sunday in Cape Town. It will be #FreshSundaze. I look forward to connecting with the people of the Cape. The new show will reflect the Sunday vibe in the city, interaction with listeners and the most music to make you feel great,” concludes DJ Fresh.
Kfm 94.5’s new Sunday line-up will take effect from Sunday, 6 October.
The line-up includes:
04:00 to 07:00 — Early Weekend Breakfast with Jonathan Duguid
07:00 to 10:00 — Sunday Breakfast with Saskia Falken
10:00 to 15:00 — #KfmSundaze with Brandon Leigh
15:00 to 19:00 — #FreshSundaze with DJ Fresh
19:00 to 22:00 — Sunday Love Songs with Mamohau
