As a follow up to the first OG and the reverse 2.0 colourways, Jordan Brand is gearing up to release another “Shattered Backboard” Air Jordan 1 (3.0), this October.
The colourway pays homage to Michael Jordan when he shattered the backboard with one of his iconic slam dunks during a Nike exhibition tour back in 1985.
For 2019, the Air Jordan 1 SBB 3.0 series showcases the same color combination as other previous pairs but takes on a completely new look as far as materials go. This Air Jordan 1 is composed of a glossy leather in black and orange, but detailed with a crinkled texture to evoke the shattered glass theme. Nike Air branding on the tongue, the Wings logo on the ankle, and a Pale Vanilla sole unit complete the look on this Jordan 1.
