Kanye West film “Jesus Is King” recently released in over 400 IMAX theaters globally on 24th October 2019, and so far the film has grossed over $1 million worldwide.
Good news! The 35-minute film will be heading to Ster-Kinekor (IMAX) Theatres on Saturday, 09 November 2019.
Filmed in the summer of 2019, JESUS IS KING brings Kanye West’s famed Sunday Service to life in the Roden Crater, visionary artist James Turrell’s never-before-seen installation in Arizona’s Painted Desert.
This one-of-a-kind experience features songs arranged by West in the gospel tradition along with new music from his latest album Jesus Is King — all presented in the immersive sound and stunning clarity of The IMAX Experience®.
The film will be screened at the following Ster-Kinekor (IMAX) Theatres (Gateway, Cape Gate, Eastgate and Mall of Africa) from 2:30pm.
