
Bafana Bafana will be taking on major African teams to secure a spot at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
The South African team which has not played in the World Cup since 2010, will face Ghana, Zimbabwe, and Ethiopia in Group G.
A total of 40 African teams will battle it out to qualify and only five teams will head to World Cup Qatar 2022.
This qualifying phase starts in March 2020 and comes to an end in October 2021. Ten teams will make it after this stage, and third and final round, the ten group winners will be drawn into five two-legged knockout ties to be played in November 2021.
