The fabulous first episode of Somizi and Mohale: The Union wedding special, is now streaming exclusively on Showmax.
The episode captures Somizi Mhlongo and Mohale Motaung’s September 2019 traditional wedding in Kibler Park, Johannesburg, which merged their respective Zulu and Sotho cultures in a flamboyant celebration.
A new episode of the four-part special drops every Monday, from the road to their wedding, to their individual bachelor parties, and then their white wedding as the finale on 16 March 2020.
Apart from the fabulosity of it all, Somizi & Mohale: The Union is also the telling of an intimate love story: a story that touches on Somhale’s trials and tribulations, their respect for family and culture, and their acknowledgment of the symbolic message the union is sending to the entire African continent – that when all is said and done, love will always win.
