In collaboration with Japanese high-fashion label sacai, designer Chitose Abe fused two iconic Nike shoes (Waffle Daybreak and LDV) for a hybrid model.
For this year, we will be seeing more colourways of the silhouette, including the Black Nylon and White Nylon, both set to release this month.
This darker iteration sports a Black nylon upper replacing the mesh build on its first collab, along with suede overlays and ribbon-styled flat laces. Its signature White double-stacked midsole completes the design.
While the brighter iteration features a White nylon upper paired with suede and leather overlays detailed with its doubled Swooshes on the sides. White ribbon laces, Gold lace steps atop a White waffle rubber outsole completes the design.
Look out for the sacai x Nike LDWaffle “Black Nylon” + “Black Nylon” to release via Nike SA SNEAKRS on Tuesday, 10 March 2020 at 1:00pm through Nike SA SNEAKRS, for the retail price of R 2,599.95 each.
