The Wuhan Coronavirus (COVID-19) is spreading like wildfire across the world as well as in South Africa, harming the daily operations of many businesses.

In the latest news, sneaker retailers Shelflife and LEMKUS have announced a precautionary measure to slow down the spread of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) by temporarily canceling in-store sneaker raffles for major sneaker drops.
These sneaker raffle releases are well known for accomodating large group of people coming together to get a chance to purchase a certain pair of hyped/limited sneakers
Both the retailers will remain open for business, however,’ major sneaker drops’ will release ONLINE ONLY (www.jacklemkus.com) and (www.shelflife.co.za).

Jack Lemkus is doing our utmost in order to protect our team, customers and loved ones by creating a clean and safe environment for both our stores and e-commerce facility during the current COVID-19 outbreak.
We have implemented the following:
– Anti-bacterial hand sanitizer at our front door, staff oom, till points, e-commerce employee desks and packaging station for our e-commerce store.
– All staff with any symptoms or who have engaged with people from high-risk countries are to stay in self-isolation for 14 days.
– All major releases will drop online only.
– Our e-commerce staff isn’t taking public transportation.
– Online only month-end sales.
Let’s not panic but let’s flatten the curve.
Shelflife
Going forward Shelflife will only be dropping key releases via our online raffle system. Both our Cape Town and Johannesburg stores will remain open at present.
