MOVIE OF THE WEEK: ’93 Days’ a story about the 2014 Ebola outbreak in Nigeria

While we’re still into the virus outbreak subject, we’ve picked ’93 Days’ as our movie of the week.

93 Days is a Nigerian drama thriller which tells the story of the 2014 Ebola outbreak in Nigeria and its successful containment by health workers from a Lagos hospital. The movie is directed by Steve Gukas from a script penned by Paul Rowlston.

 

 

The solid and international cast includes Danny Glover, Somkele Idhalama, Bimbo Akintola, Tim Reid, Keppy Ekpeyong and Alastair Mackenzie to name a few.

According to the filmmakers, “93 Days” is based on the true story of men and women who risked their lives and made sacrifices to save us all from the consequences of Ebola outbreak.

’93 Days’ is currently streaming on Netflix.
