Health Minister Dr. Zweli Mkhize today (Thursday, 16 April 2020) announced that the number of coronavirus (COVID-19) infections in South Africa is now at 2,605. That is an increase of 99 cases from yesterday’s reported figure.
In addition, the death cases have also increased, now with a total of 48 people dead due to the pandemic. There are 903 recoveries recorded.
The total number of tests conducted to date is 95,060.
