SA coronavirus cases rise to 3,300 and death toll at 58

South Africa has recorded an additional 142 positive coronavirus (COVID-19) cases and 4 more deaths on Monday, 20th April 2020.

This brings the total number of positive cases to 3,300, and a total of 58 deaths, confirmed by the Health Minister, Health Minister Dr. Zweli Mkhize.

Gauteng is the epicentre of the outbreak with 1170 cases, followed by Western Cape 940 and KwaZulu-Natal 639.

The number of tests conducted is standing at 121 510, while the number of recoveries is standing at 1055.
