Mzansi Magic’s drama series, Housekeepers will return for the second season this month.
The series arrived in October 2018 with a cast including, Mangaliso Ngema, Zikhona Sodlaka, Connie Chuime, Linda Sokhulu, Mike Mvelase, and Thando Thabethe to name a few.
The new season will bring viewers a new spark, new faces and drama. A feisty new detective begins connecting the dots and realises that all evidence points to the protagonist, Linda. To make matters worse, Linda is drawn into a sizzling romance, but when she soon discovers the full extent of her lover’s macabre plans and an unbelievable hidden history – everything spirals out of control.
A host of stunning familiar faces form part of Housekeepers’ talented cast who bring this gripping local story to life. The elegant Xolile Tshabalala plays the role of matriarch Noli Ngubane while Lindani Nkosi embodies Clive Ngubane. Renowned actor Lorcia Cooper plays the spicy Mkhonto, alongside Sithembiso “SK” Khoza who plays the character of Sydney Ngubane and Kwezi Ndlovu as Thuli Ngubane.
The series also features the much-loved Dumisani Mbebe, Kayise Ngqula, Nimrod Nkosi and Liopelo Maphathe as gutsy Officer Maluleke.
Housekeepers Season 2 will arrive on 15 June 2020 at 20:00 on Mzansi Magic.
