Africa’s very own Sha sha, Burna Boy, Wizkid and Anatii won big at this year’s BET Awards.
Zim’s song-bird, Sha Sha walked away with Viewers’ Choice: Best New International Act award. Naija superstar, Burna Boy raised the bar with another notable win for the continent. Burna Boy won the Best International Act, the second time in a row. He was up against AKA, Mr Eazi, Dave, Dosseh, Giggs and Aya Nakamura in the same category.
Another great win is for Wizkid and Anatii for Brown Skin Girl which was picked for Her Award.
This year’s BET Awards were virtual for the first time due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
