The Umbrella Academy is back for the second season. The series is an adaptation of the comic book series of the same name, created by Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá.
The live-action series stars Ellen Page, Tom Hopper, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, David Castañeda, Aidan Gallagher, Cameron Britton, and Mary J. Blige.
In the series;: On the same day in 1989, forty-three infants are inexplicably born to random, unconnected women who showed no signs of pregnancy the day before. Seven are adopted by Sir Reginald Hargreeves, a billionaire industrialist, who creates The Umbrella Academy and prepares his “children” to save the world. But not everything went according to plan. In their teenage years, the family fractured and the team disbanded. Now, the six surviving thirty-something members reunite upon the news of Hargreeves’ passing. Luther, Diego, Allison, Klaus, Vanya and Number Five work together to solve a mystery surrounding their father’s death.

The second season of Dirty John, The Betty Broderick Story, features Christian Slater and Amanda Peet in the role of Betty Broderick.
The series is based on a true story of love gone wrong – spanning the ‘60s to the ’80s through the breakdown of a marriage that Oprah deemed one of “America’s messiest divorces,” before it ended in a double homicide.
Betty Broderick (Amanda Peet) was the perfect Southern California blonde wife and mother. Married to her handsome college boyfriend Dan (Christian Slater), Betty charms everyone she meets. After years of sacrifice and suffering while supporting Dan through both medical and law school until he exploded into the San Diego legal community as a superstar, Betty is finally enjoying the fruits of their labors. Starring Merle Dandridge, Keith David, Lynn Whitfield, and Kim Hawthorne, the series follows a family that is full of dark secrets who work to keep up appearances while running their megachurch.
I May Destroy You

HBO’s British comedy-drama series I May Destroy You will be coming to Showmax later this month.
The series is created, written and executive produced by Michaela Coel (Chewing Gum) who also stars in the series. Coel plays the role of Arabella, a carefree, self-assured Londoner with a group of great friends, a boyfriend in Italy, and a burgeoning writing career. But when her drink is spiked with a date-rape drug, she must question and rebuild every element of her life.
The series also stars Weruche Opia as Terry Pratchard, Arabella’s best friend, struggling actor and Paapa Essiedu as Kwame, Arabella’s gay male best friend.
