Nasty C who’s about to drop his much-awaited album ‘Zulu Man with Some Power’ has shared a new short-film ‘Origins’ with Apple Music to take us back to his childhood and growing up in the city of Durban.
The 14-minute long film directed by Andrew Sandler, sees Nasty C visiting his hometown to share some rooted memories during his come up.
The rapper sits inside the empty Westridge Park Stadium where There They Go music video was filmed, to narrate the film along with Ayanda Ngcobo (brother) and Yvette Gayle (manager). In other scenes, Nasty C goes back to his hometown to hang out with his childhood friends and showing his small studio where it all began. Part of the film also shows his studio sessions, performances and his sold-out Ivyson Tour performance at the same Westridge Park Stadium.
