Following the death of actor Chadwick Boseman, we have put together a list of movies you can watch to remember his iconic performance.
Boseman died on 28th August 2020 at 43, after a 4-year fight with colon cancer.
His acting career began widely in the 2013 movie 42 and since been a regular to many movies. His recent role was on Spike Lee’s Da 5 Bloods, and the upcoming ‘Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom’ will be his finale, starring along with Viola Davis. The movie is directed by George C. Wolfe and is based on the recording session of “Mother of the Blues” Ma Rainey in 1920s Chicago.

Chadwick Boseman takes the role of Robinson, and Harrison Ford as Branch Rickey with Nicole Beharie.

Message from the King is another exciting thriller to watch with Boseman in action. The Fabrice Du Welz directed movie, follows the story of Jacob King (played by Boseman) from Cape Town, South Africa who travels to Los Angeles in order to find his younger sister and then to avenge her death. The movie also stars Luke Evans, Teresa Palmer, and Alfred Molina.

Chadwick Boseman stars Thurgood Marshall, the first African American Supreme Court Justice, and focuses on one of the first cases of his career, the State of Connecticut v. Joseph Spell. The legal drama movie is directed by Reginald Hudlin and also stars Josh Gad, Kate Hudson, Dan Stevens, Sterling K. Brown, and James Cromwell.

Chadwick Boseman is mostly recognized for his character in Marvel blockbuster Black Panther.
Boseman plays T’Challa / Black Panther alongside Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, and Andy Serkis.
The movie follows T’Challa who, after the death of his father, the King of Wakanda, returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation to succeed to the throne and take his rightful place as king. But when a powerful old enemy reappears, T’Challa’s mettle as king—and Black Panther—is tested when he is drawn into a formidable conflict that puts the fate of Wakanda and the entire world at risk. This action thriller movie is directed by Brian Kirk and stars Chadwick Boseman as an NYPD detective along with J.K. Simmons, Sienna Miller, Taylor Kitsch and Keith David.
The movie follows a disgraced NYPD detective (Boseman) who is given a shot at redemption. Thrust into a citywide manhunt for a cop killer, he begins to uncover a massive conspiracy that links his fellow cops to a criminal empire and must decide who he is hunting and who is actually hunting him.
Da 5 Bloods

This Spike Lee’s joint ‘Da 5 Bloods’ is Chadwick Boseman’s recent movie. He stars along with Delroy Lindo, Norm Lewis, Isiah Whitlock Jr., Jonathan Majors and Clarke Peters – four African-American Vets who return to Vietnam to for the remains of their fallen Squad Leader (played by Chadwick Boseman).
