Netflix premiered the “Sneakerheads” series this past weekend, which highlights a bit of the culture of sneaker collecting and the strive of getting your hands on a certain pair.
The series follows Devin (Allen Maldonado) a former sneakerhead who’s traded in his days of shoe searching for family life as a stay-at-home dad. When he gets back in the old world he left behind, joining his friend Bobby (Andrew Bachelor) in a get-rich-quick scheme, he loses $5,000. To earn it back and keep his wife from finding out, Devin begins the search for a mysterious pair of valuable sneakers, enlisting in the help of some fellow sneakerheads to complete his mission.
Nori played by Jearnest Corchado, is a sneaker reseller who comes along to help Devin and Bobby find the Zeroes, the pair of mythical kicks they’re so intent on tracking down.
