Months after announcing that the Chinatown Market label will be hitting local shores, Shelflife is gearing up to release the first drop which consists of wide array of graphic-heavy tees.
Streetwear label Chinatown Market was founded by New York-born designer Michael Cherman. The brand lives and breaths the bootleg aesthetic, with designs heavily influenced by modern culture and what’s going on in the world at any given time.
The tees are all made from a premium thick cotton with high-quality screenprint designs featured on each. Some tees also feature extremely thick screen-print (puff print) designs that are raised on the fabric. Each tee features a thicker 90s-style collar and a slightly oversized fit.
The long-sleeve tees feature the same premium construction and 90s fit, with cuffs for each sleeve. The white long-sleeve features a UV-reactive screenprint that changes colour when in direct sunlight.
Look out for the first drop of Chinatown Market collection to release this Saturday, 10 October 2020 exclusively to Shelflife (Joburg and Cape Town) and online shelflife.co.za.
