We cannot ignore how the Amapiano genre is still massively dominating this year.
This time of the year is where artists are strapping and gearing to drop for the December season. But just before we hop onto that season, we’ve put together a list of Amapiano projects that are currently doing chaos.
The list features recently released Albums and EPs with songs that are a buzz on charts and club scene.
Mr JazziQ & Busta 929 – Maba Jabul’abantu
Call it a showcase of Amapiano meets Kwaito flavour, Mr JazziQ and Busta 929 linked up to put together a groovy project proving their magic work when it comes to both the production and vocal work. The duo went further to showoff by inviting the likes of Focalistic, Riky Rick, Bontle Smith and the most dangerous duo right now Reece Madlisa and Zuma, to deliver solid collaborations. Leading jams on the project include VSOP, Monate and Le Ngoma. Without a doubt this EP makes it to our list of best Amapiano releases for 2020.

Reece Madlisa & Zuma : Ama Roto
Ama Roto EP is definitely one of the most important and prolific releases for Reece Madlisa and Zuma, and the Amapiano genre. The project was a way of them paving way for the havoc they have created with Zlele aka Junk Park anthem – and not forgetting their recent heavy and much-felt contribution on Mr JazziQ & Busta’s Maba Jabul’abantu.
The duo has to be given credit for introducing this ravishing and ratchet vocal style which is very enticing especially for the dance floors and for singing along.
The style is obviously referenced from the Kwaito genre, but seeing the magic they create riding on the Amapiano beats is insane.
With this release, the duo proves exactly that inviting Mr JazziQ, Busta 929, Killer Kau and Mpura.
