UPDATE (15 October 2020): Castle Lite has today announced the long-awaited Cardi B’s #CastleLiteUnlocks concert is now scheduled to take place in 2021, with a new date to be revealed.

In a statement,  the liquor brand said “After having placed the 2020 Castle Lite Unlocks experience on ice due to the global Covid-19 outbreak earlier this year, we can now confirm that Cardi B will only be making her way to Mzansi for an extra Extra Cold night of Hip-Hop alongside a star-studded line-up of performances in 2021”.

For those who purchased tickets, they will still be valid and are exchangeable for the 2021 Castle Lite Unlocks concert and can be exchanged when the new date is announced.

If you no longer keen to attend the concert, you are entitled to a refund through the ticketing merchant TicketPro – with a refund procedure to be communicated.

The concert has already been moved twice, due to the Covid-19 pandemic in the country.

15 April 2020

Following the recent postponement due to coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Castle Lite has announced a new date for Cardi B’s concert.

The #CastleLiteUnlocks concert has now been moved to 05 December 2020 taking place at Ticketpro Dome (Johannesburg).

Those who have already purchased tickets will be able to exchange their tickets for the new performance date.

Customers who wish to no longer attend the event are, however, also entitled to a refund by sending an email to info@heroticket.co.za with details on the email address used to book the ticket, cardholder’s details for ticket purchase as well as the ticket number.

This will be the first time the Bronx, New York rapper performs in South Africa. Last year Cardi visited Africa for the first time and was booked to headline shows in Nigeria and Ghana.

Castle Lite continues its annual cultural Hip-Hop event which brings international acts to our shores. Last year they brought out Meek Mill and Post Malone for a two-day festival, along with Sway Calloway.

It’s confirmed, #CastleLiteUnlocks with @iamcardib is happening on 5 December 2020 at @Ticketprodome. Get your tickets at https://t.co/oKLsx17Iz7 Can’t wait to see you there, okurrr pic.twitter.com/ORINh9Zl8L
