BuMP films and Light Realm Films has teamed up with Netflix to bring the 2018 local series called ‘Emoyeni’.

‘Emoyeni’ is a four part television series portraying narratives where the supernatural realm collides with the ordinary world. In these urban mystical realist films; troubled individuals experience otherworldly forces that challenge everything they think to be true.

In each standalone film, troubled individuals undergo otherworldly experiences when the spirit realm directly interacts with their ordinary worlds.

Plagued by human dilemmas such as loss, betrayal, ambition, love and lust, these characters meet superhuman trials. They must confront their fears and embrace the supernatural, or suffer the consequences.

The series is created and produced by Thishiwe Ziqubu and Bridget Pickering, directed by Thishiwe Ziqubu, Mmabatho Montsho, Perivi katjavivi and PJ Makosholo.

The cast includes; Mothusi Magano, Tumi Ngumla, Vangile Ziqubu, Mandisa Nduna, Ebenhaezer Dibakwane, Motlatsi Mafatshe and Nomonde Mbusi to mention a few.

‘Emoyeni’ will arrive on Netflix on October 28.
