Having to watch some of these old movies kind of brings back those days when it was all about VHS Cassettes and DVDs. Now, Netflix has recently been buying rights to have almost all old fan-favorites movies and TV Shows available on its platform.

The movie follows the story of Jimmy Smith Jr. (played by Eminem) who attempts to launch a career in hip hop,. A provocative fictional examination of a critical week in Jimmy’s life who moved back north of 8 Mile Road to the run-down trailer home in Warren, Michigan of his alcoholic mother Stephanie, his younger sister Lily, and Stephanie’s abusive live-in boyfriend Greg.
Anaconda (1997)
Definitely an old favorite for most people. Anaconda follows Terri Flores (Jennifer Lopez) is traveling deep in the Amazon jungle looking for a forgotten tribe. Terri and her crew, which includes an anthropologist (Eric Stoltz) and a cameraman (Ice Cube), come across Paul (Jon Voight), who is stranded on the riverbank. He offers to help them find the tribe, but his secretive behavior puts everyone on edge. They realize too late that he’s using them to find a legendary anaconda that’s worth a fortune if they can catch it.
King Kong (2005)
This 2005 remake is all about gorilla-like creature dubbed Kong who perishes in an attempt to possess a beautiful young woman (Wray).
The Matrix (1999)
The iconic movie follows Neo (Keanu Reeves) who battles it out with Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne), an elusive figure considered to be the most dangerous man alive.
The Mask (1994)
Of course, this will slap for all Jim Carey fans. The movie follows Stanley Ipkiss (Jim Carrey) discovers a magical mask containing the spirit of the Norse god Loki, his entire life changes. While wearing the mask, Ipkiss becomes a supernatural playboy exuding charm and confidence which allows him to catch the eye of local nightclub singer Tina Carlyle (Cameron Diaz). Unfortunately, under the mask’s influence, Ipkiss also robs a bank, which angers junior crime lord Dorian Tyrell (Peter Greene), whose goons get blamed for the heist.
Godzilla (1998)
In Godzilla, a giant lizard makes its way to New York City. Dr. Niko Tatopoulos (Matthew Broderick), an expert on the effects of radiation on animals, is sent by the U.S. government to study the beast. When the creature, dubbed “Godzilla” by news outlets, emerges, a massive battle with the military begins. To make matters worse, Niko discovers that Godzilla has laid a nest of 200 eggs, which are ready to hatch.
Tsotsi (2005)
Set in an Alexandra township, the film tells the story of Tsotsi (Presley Chweneyagae), a young street thug who steals a car only to discover a baby in the back seat and has to take care of this baby. The film won the 2006 Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film and was nominated for the Golden Globe for Best Foreign Language Film in 2006.
Coming to America (1988)
Stars Eddie Murphy as Akeem Joffer, the crown prince of the fictional African nation of Zamunda, who travels to the United States in the hopes of finding a woman he can marry.
Police Academy (1984)
When the mayor of a crime-ridden city loosens the restrictions on entering the police academy in order to get more cops on the street, all manner of oddball characters enlist to join the force. Among the cadets are suave Carey Mahoney (Steve Guttenberg), hulking Moses Hightower (Bubba Smith), beautiful Karen Thompson (Kim Cattrall) and sound effects-generating Larvell Jones (Michael Winslow), who all have to show initiative and courage when they are faced with tough situations out on patrol.
The Bone Collector (1999)
Starring Denzel Washington, Angelina Jolie, and Queen Latifah. A quadriplegic ex-homicide detective and his partner try to track down a serial killer who is terrorizing New York City.
