Netflix‘s stalker hit series ‘You’ is officially returning for season 3, and is due to release in 2021.
According to Netflix, filming on season 3 of You began in November 2020, with Badgley and Pedretti returning as the show’s central couple.
In addition, there will be an addition of two new cast members.
In October 2020, Netflix announced the addition of two new cast members. Shalita Grant (NCIS: New Orleans, Search Party) will play Sherry, a “Mom-fluencer” in Love’s social circle. Travis VanWinkle will play the wealthy Cary, Joe’s new friend. Beware, Travis, and Shalita—your new friends have quite the histories.

Season 1 follows Joe Goldberg (Badgley), a New York bookstore manager who becomes infatuated with an aspiring writer named Guinevere Beck (Elizabeth Lail) and he starts to manipulate situations so that both constantly can cross paths. But as his delusional obsession with her grows, his actions get much, much darker.
While Season 2 sees Joe move to LA in the hopes of being a better person by putting his stalkerish tendencies behind. He meets Love Quinn who has also killed one-too-many people in the name of passion.
Season 3 is set to continue adapting Hidden Bodies by Caroline Kepnes with episode one currently titled “And They Lived Happily Ever After”. Episode one is written by Sera Gamble and Mairin Reed and directed by Silver Tree.
The official release date is set to be announced.
