V&A Waterfront and Ster-Kinekor are bringing back the old school way of watching movies with the launch of Drive-in cinema.
Yes, you heard right, from Friday, November 27, movie fans can head to V&A Waterfront where they will enjoy the experience of outdoor cinema and watching movies sitting in their cars.
Fans will enjoy a lineup of recent and past releases including Jiu Jitsu, Avengers: Infinity War, Toy Story, Avengers: End Game and 100% Wolf.
The drive-in will have a state-of-the-art 12-meter-wide screen clearly visible from all areas of the venue. The sound frequency will be transmitted through the car stereo.
The ticket is priced at R250 per car for any new movies, and R220 for past releases limited to private passenger vehicles only and one passenger per seat.
Fans have an option of adding R100 extra for 2x regular catering combo’s (regular popcorn & soda).
