
Wonder Woman 1984 which was delayed in cinemas due to COVID-19, has now been confirmed to release in December.
Ster-Kinekor has confirmed the superhero movie will release in cinemas on December 16, 2020.
The sequel was originally intended to be released in 2019 but was then delayed to June 5, 2020. And due to the ongoing pandemic, it was then pushed back to two times to August and October before landing the December release date.
Warner Bros. has also confirmed the movie will stream on HBO Max sametime as it releases in cinemas.
The movie stars Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman and Kristen Wiig in the role of the Super-Villain The Cheetah, as well as Pedro Pascal. Chris Pine also returns as Steve Trevor.
Fast forward to the 1980s as Wonder Womanโs next big-screen adventure finds her facing two all-new foes: Max Lord and The Cheetah. With director Patty Jenkins back at the helm, Wonder Woman 1984 is Warner Bros. Picturesโ follow up to the DC Super Heroโs first outing, 2017โs record-breaking Wonder Woman.
