A rising songstress Mandisa Mtembu better known as Mary Jane takes the spotlight this week following the release of her debut E.P ‘PHASES’.
The singer-songwriter Mary Jane finally shares her debut EP, PHASES, out now on all digital platforms. The EP follows her featured tracks such as ‘Rock n Roll Gangster’ by Wavekid and ‘Playing Games’ by Lumin X.
The release, timed perfectly for Valentine’s Day / Love month, has songs for every kind of emotion making this a mandatory listen for all music lovers. Inspired by true events, “Phases” was produced by Bopsy Fresh, who’s worked alongside many artists such as Gigi Lamayne, Germaine, and Money Badoo.
“The EP was inspired by many people around me and I hope that those who listen to the EP will find healing and comfort in the songs”, said Mary Jane.

Mary Jane, also known as Mandisa Mary-Jane Mtembu who is from Mpumalanga, Nelspruit is a singer with no limitations. She discovered her love of music and natural gift for singing and songwriting in the musical melting pot of Meridian Karino, where she schooled. Her talent was nurtured by her mentor Divine Mlambo who was her band and choir conductor. She believes that God has given her this gift to heal many broken hearts and speak about emotions not many speak about. She created this EP alongside Bopsy Fresh and Tshepang Dean and believes that one day her music will reach people around the world.
