Apple has renewed Apple TV+’s ‘Dear…’ for a second season.
Inspired by Apple’s groundbreaking “Dear Apple” spots, “Dear…” takes an inventive and cinematic approach to biographies of the most iconic figures in society today by using letters written by those whose lives have been changed through their work.
Set to debut globally on Apple TV+ later this year, the second season of ‘Dear…’ will debut 10 new installments, with each episode spotlighting and profiling internationally recognized leaders, including Viola Davis, Selena Gomez, Jane Fonda, Ava DuVernay, Billy Porter, Andre Leon Talley, Sandra Oh, Laird Hamilton and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
The firs season features Oprah Winfrey, Gloria Steinem, Spike Lee, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Yara Shahidi, Stevie Wonder, Aly Raisman, Misty Copeland, Big Bird and more. The series is executive produced by R.J. Cutler alongside Todd Lubin, Jay Peterson, Jane Cha and Lyle Gamm.
